Mind the Bag
In July 2026, I was part of a team in the 2 day Film Festival Challenge. As a group we went from concept to a finished film in 48 hours. We were given the prompts of having to use a bag or a suitcase and we had to use the line “don’t make this any harder”. Wearing several hats I contributed as Executive Producer, Editor, AD, DIT and 1st AC. Despite having the opportunity to shoot the film I still loved the process, working with wonderful people and am hugely proud of the finished product no matter how ridiculous the story line might be.
4th Date
Working with the wonderful Writer, Director and Actor, Mo Bangura we came put together this short spec project. As my first time as DoP this was a great opportunity to learn experiment and work with some of my industry friends. The project was a huge learning curve and I couldn’t have done it without the team I had around me. We plan to make more and continue the characters journeys soon.
One For The Road | Film 48
In March 2026 I had the opportunity to get involved in a short film for One For the Road. The idea circulated around coming up with a concept and shooting a one-shot Short film in 48 hours. Over a weekend we all met as a group for the first time and worked together to shoot the film. I was fortunate enough to come along as a camera op on the project, shooting a small section. Simultaneously I also shoot a behind the scenes video to promote the short film which you can watch here. I learnt a huge amount from the experience which I will take forwards onto future projects.
The Sound of Music Photography
In my second year of University, I made a documentary about female music photographers in Leeds. Interviewing 3 photographers, my team and I asked about their experiences in a highly male-dominated field. Taking on responsibilities in the filming and editing led me to learn so much about the process and for me to decide to pursue a career in camera operation in Documentary.
